"I wake up at 6am to chanting coming from either the Coptic church or the nearby mosque, it’s hard to tell. I have an early breakfast and stare out over the town that is just awakening."

"Today is our day off. We visit local government vets who had been trained by Brooke Ethiopia vets. Government vets don’t get any formal education in treating horses, donkeys or mules at university, so our work providing training is much appreciated."
